MD show on Saturday was awesome. I stayed with "Mayor Bob" for those of you in MD, maybe you know him and Laura. Good people.
I hadn't played in a while, and didn't know how badly I missed it. It felt so good to connect with a new group of people (it was a private function for them). After the show, I got some people asking which record that song about "see how it ends" was on. They had clearly connected to it. I told them that it's not on any record, and that it was the first time I'd ever played it. There's nothing better than the feeling when a new song takes off.
How it Ends
Shut the door Don't talk anymore I've heard your side I want equal time Let me make it clear That I want you here If you don't believe Then it's time For you To leave
'Cause I don't need any more very good friends I don't know about you, but I didn't start this to see how it ends
Do you live in fear While I stand right here Trying to compete With every ghost you meet? Can you be strong, or Did I peg you wrong, Waste these words on you When I am terrified, too?
'Cause I don't need any more very good friends I don't know about you, but I didn't start this to see how it ends
How it ends How it ends How it ends How it ends
Shut the door Don't talk anymore I have heard your side.

Just found out the new Lesley Gore record is going to be titled, "Ever Since." That's pretty damn cool.
