:: Friday, July 8, 2005 :: I hope you were able to check out Air America (Web address is below) - I heard it sounded great over the air. Lesley and I did a duet of "Ever Since", with me playing the guitar on my lap, as the song was originally written. Marc Maron, the host, was phenomenal, totally pro, prepared, and... something else that starts with "p". Personable. Sure. He was that, too. Lesley told a great story about playing on Ed Sullivan, and watching Tony Bennett throwing up in a garbage can backstage from nerves. Comedian Shelly Berman bombed that night, and was so angry he stalked off stage, ripped off his toupee and threw it into the garbage can. I didn't get whether it was the same can. But it's a lovely image.
